Dr. Tucker's therapeutic approach centers on the importance of self-awareness to significant and lasting change. Treatment is individualized to the specific concerns and goals of each person with whom she meets. Dr. Tucker readily collaborates with other mental health providers and medical professionals. 

Session length and Fees

Consultations and sessions are typically 45 minutes in length. Fees are comparable to other psychologists at Dr. Tucker's level of experience in Dallas. 


Payment is expected at the time that a session is held. Personal check, exact cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are accepted. Funds from a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) are generally permitted to be used for psychological consultation, evaluation, and treatment. Please inquire about the details of your HSA or FSA plan to verify covered services. 


To ensure complete confidentiality, Dr. Tucker is not in-network with any insurance providers. Some health insurance plans include out-of-network benefits which may reimburse for part of the cost of sessions. If you are interested in submitting such a claim to your insurance company, Dr. Tucker can provide a detailed receipt which contains the codes generally needed. If this arrangement is not feasible, Dr. Tucker would be glad to review a list of providers that accept your insurance and offer recommendations. 

Cancellation Policy 

Because time is reserved specifically for you when an appointment is scheduled, Dr. Tucker requires at least 24 hours notice for rescheduled or cancelled your appointment. The full fee will be charged for late cancellations or missed sessions. Appointments generally begin and end at the scheduled time. 


Dr. Tucker does not provide emergency services. In an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
